Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minnesota is seeking a Pharmacist to provide medication management, clinical support, and consultative services within a complex pharmacy operation. This role partners with key stakeholders to educate patients, ensure medication safety and regulatory compliance, and support quality assurance and process improvement.

The position may also participate in the education of pharmacy students and residents, aligning with organizational goals and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in Minnesota (MN Board of Pharmacy) required.
• Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency preferred.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.

Job description

Job Overview

The Pharmacist is responsible for providing medication management, clinical support and consultative services in a complex pharmacy operation. This position partners with key stakeholders to drive patient and family education, medication safety, quality assurance, customer service, process improvement and regulatory compliance. This position may also participate in education of pharmacy students and residents.

Hours worked in this role will normally be documented as seven consecutive shifts of 10 hours in a two week period, paid as 80 hours of work. This position will be a straight night position working Thursday evening through Wednesday night.

• Pharmacist MN Board of Pharm

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year pharmacist experience in complex healthcare environment
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency program
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree
