Job summary

Centurion Health in Mountain City, Tennessee, is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join NE Correctional Complex. The LPN provides holistic nursing care under supervision of RNs and medical staff to incarcerated patients.

Shifts are days 6:00am–6:30pm and nights 6:00pm–6:30am, three shifts per week with rotating weekends. Licensure in TN required or ability to obtain, CPR certified.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• TN LPN license or ability to obtain one.
• Current CPR certification.
• Corrections experience not required; ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice.

Job Location: TN, Mountain City - Northeast Correctional Complex - Mountain City, TN 37683, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Job Category: Nursing Professional & Support, Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Tennessee Department of Correction.

We are currently seeking a full-time, day or night shift Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at NE Correctional Complex located in Mountain City, Tennessee.

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.

Pay range is from $31 to $38 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Shift

Days are 6:00 am to 6:30 pm; Nights are 6:00 pm-6:30 am, three shifts per week, rotating weekends
