Job summary

Centurion Health in Mountain City, Tennessee is seeking a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Northeast Correctional Complex. The LPN will provide holistic nursing care under supervision to incarcerated patients in a secure correctional setting.

Requirements include Tennessee LPN license (or compact license or ability to obtain), current CPR/BLS, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Corrections experience is not required; shifts are paid at $31 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Tennessee LPN license, compact license or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff to respond to physical and mental health needs.
