Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per diem, night shift Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City, Tennessee. The LPN provides holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients, under the supervision of RNs and medical staff.

Candidate must hold a Tennessee LPN license or be able to obtain one, and be CPR certified. Per diem shifts and a secure, structured setting offer a chance to impact a underserved population.

Qualifications

• Tennessee LPN license or ability to obtain one is required.
• CPR certification is required and active.
• Corrections experience is not required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of RNs, medical and psychiatric staff to respond to physical and mental health needs.
• Per diem night shift position at Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City, TN.
