Job summary

Penn Hills Charter School of Entrepreneurship (PHCSE) is seeking a Classroom Teacher to plan, deliver, and assess an instruction program aligned with Pennsylvania standards. The role emphasizes data-informed differentiation and support for student entrepreneurship within the Microsociety framework.

The teacher will manage classroom behavior via PBIS, collaborate with Academic Coaches, and engage in ongoing professional development to advance curriculum and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education is required.
• Active PA certification in 4-8 math or science or elementary K-6 certification is required.
• Extensive knowledge of the Pennsylvania State Standards and Common Core.
• 3 years teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned to Pennsylvania State Standards.
• Use data and observations to guide learning and student achievement.
• Differentiate instruction and provide accommodations and interventions.
• Support entrepreneurship within PHCSE Microsociety curricula.
• Manage classroom using a school-wide positive behavior support model.
• Collaborate with staff and maintain organized learning records.
