Qualifications

• Education: Valid PA Certification.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to adjust instructional strategies to reach year-end goals.
• A strong sense of personal accountability for student achievement.
• A belief that all students should be held to high standards.
• A positive attitude and a drive for personal excellence.
• Outstanding instructional skills, including the ability to motivate and challenge students and maintain an orderly classroom.
• Demonstrates commitment to Universal s mission and success.

• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Implement Universal’s curriculum and instructional strategies with consistency.
• Develop rigorous lesson plans, homework assignments and assessments.
• Analyze student assessment data with school leaders to inform instruction.
• Collaborate in grade level teams to discuss student work and share best practices.
• Form and maintain relationships with students’ families, including calls and conferences.
• Participate in ongoing professional development for continuous improvement.
• Perform related work as required.
