Aerotek in Plano, TX is seeking a skilled 6G Welder to join our construction-welding team. You will set up welding equipment and weld pipe assemblies using TIG, submerged arc, and other processes, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.

This on-site contract-to-hire role requires experience with ASME Section IX, reading blueprints, and strong precision with stainless steel. You will contribute to heating, cooling, and industrial systems while following trade codes and project specs.

Formación

• Proven TIG welding experience on stainless steel components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Familiar with ASME IX welding and qualification requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Set up welding equipment and perform welding with TIG and other processes.
• Layout, assemble, install, and repair plumbing systems per specs.
• Install and maintain piping systems for heating, cooling, gas and steam.
• Ensure adherence to trade and building codes.
• Participate in ASME Section IX qualification processes.
