Qualifications

• Read and interpret basic drawings and weld symbols.
• Pass Austal USA TIG weld test procedures in 6G position.
• Pass Austal USA TIG weld test procedure for aluminum pipe.
• Ability to work to Austal TIG Welding standards.
• Work to Austal housekeeping procedure.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work and identify potential problems; initiate corrective actions.
• Increase awareness of Quality procedures within department.
• Be a productive team member that meets daily goals set by the supervisor.
• Contribute to innovation and productivity improvements.
• Assist in waste elimination and control of materials and consumables.
• Assist supervisor to maintain department equipment and its maintenance.
