The Apprenticeship Program is a five-year program with on-the-job training and a 19-course correspondence through a nationally recognized university.
Once you enter the Apprenticeship Program and complete your six-month probationary period, you are eligible to become a member of Local 669. Ryan will sponsor you during this period and the remainder of your employment. An Apprentice is paid a percentage of the Journeyman wage, with increases every six months based on satisfactory progress in on-the-job performance and related training courses.
If you have completed college courses, military background, or experience in another field, you may receive credit that advances your class level and wage.
This position is eligible for full insurance benefits and a pension.
The pay scale in Kentucky is as follows, with increases every 6 months:
Progressing as a journeyman earns $40.67/hour, with potential to become a Foreman earning $43.92/hour.
