Job summary

WWAY in North Carolina is seeking a full-time Multimedia Journalist to join our award-winning News team on the Cape Fear coast. You will shoot, write, edit, and present compelling stories for TV and digital platforms.

You’ll develop enterprise reports, break news coverage, and contribute to social media. A valid driver’s license and ability to work a flexible schedule are required.

• Strong storytelling and writing skills.
• Solid news judgment and ability to stay ahead of developing stories.
• A team player with a professional, positive attitude.
• Experience with ENPS and Edius is a plus.
• A valid driver\'s license and clean driving record are required.

• Present stories on-air and online
• Contribute actively to our digital and social media platforms
• Participate in community events and station initiatives
• Operate live shots via our TVU system
