Job summary

Funko, Inc. in Everett, WA is seeking a Packaging Designer for a six-month on-site contract. You will translate creative direction into packaging designs that align with brand guidelines and product strategy, managing multiple projects with strong attention to detail.

The role requires a degree in graphic/packaging design, proficiency in Adobe CC (Illustrator, Photoshop), and excellent organizational and communication skills. Portfolio showcasing packaging work is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Applied Arts degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a production-driven environment.
• High attention to detail, particularly with print and packaging assets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals, layout skills, and/or packaging-related work.

Responsibilities

• Create packaging designs using established brand, structural, and layout guidelines.
• Create digital packaging mockups for internal review and approval.
• Develop, update, and refine packaging templates to support consistency and workflow efficiency.
• Prepare and optimize print-ready packaging files in accordance with production and vendor specifications.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all packaging deliverables.
• Organise and manage files, versions, and documentation across multiple active projects.
• Communicate effectively with internal partners to support on-time and accurate delivery.
