The role: Packaging Designer You will shape the future by designing, developing and executing on unique packaging experiences that harness the power of client to delight and inspire millions of people worldwide. You are a designer who is passionate about improving people's lives through design and sustainable solutions. You are proactive, creative, engaged, optimistic, progressive, open-minded, resourceful and seek inspiration, empowerment and challenge. You have the ability to design and produce imaginative concepts for leading-edge packaging across a variety of core categories. Collaborating with our Leads and Directors, you will participate on projects from concept through to production. You will also play a design leadership role on assigned projects, and collaborate with all members of cross functional teams executing against brand and/or product positioning to ensure success.
Responsibilities: Delivering on-brand, on-strategy creative for worldwide packaging SKUs Interact with agencies and external vendors Support creative team on other print projects as needed Help advance the creative team to be a strategic resource Reviewing and eliciting feedback from project stakeholders Successful and timely execution of projects
Minimum Requirements: BA or BFA in Graphic Design or other related design discipline 8+ years specializing in visual design for print, preferably in a design agency. 5+ years experience working with creative suites (Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop) A proven track record of graphic design for the packaging and print Knowledge of printing process Ability to partner with production designers to ensure accurate execution Preferred Requirements: Ability to generate excitement around, and demonstrate value of, creative ideas presented Excellent written and oral skills Exceptional attention to detail Delivery of high quality design work
