Job summary

Funko in Burbank, CA is seeking a design-focused creative to develop original bag silhouettes and product ideas that push beyond traditional accessory design, sketching, mocking up, and prototyping concepts that align with brand style guides and licensor guidelines.

You will collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment, apply design techniques to multiple product types, select materials and finishes, and maintain Loungefly brand integrity while translating fashion trends and pop culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Product Design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–6 years in fashion/softlines creative, graphic design or product design.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop).
• Strong eye for fashion, trends and licensing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging accessory trends and translate insights into concepts.
• Develop original ideas that differentiate Loungefly.
• Concept innovative bag silhouettes and product ideas.
• Design figural character bags balancing creativity and brand.
• Illustrate original character art following licensor guidelines.
• Select materials, finishes, and design details to enhance storytelling.
• Apply techniques across multiple product types.
• Understand costing parameters when designing materials and finishes.
• Sketch, mockup, and prototype concepts aligned with brand vision.
• Maintain Loungefly brand integrity and creative excellence.
• Collaborate across teams while managing projects independently.
