Job summary

Funko is seeking a Packaging Designer for a six-month, on-site contract in Everett, WA. You will create packaging designs aligned with brand guidelines, develop digital mockups, and maintain templates to ensure consistency across multiple projects.

The role requires a design degree (Graphic/Packaging) or equivalent experience, strong Adobe CC skills (Illustrator, Photoshop), sharp attention to print details, and solid time management to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Applied Arts degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a production-driven environment.
• High attention to detail, particularly with print and packaging assets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals, layout skills, and/or packaging-related work.

Responsibilities

• Create packaging designs using established brand, structural, and layout guidelines.
• Create digital packaging mockups for internal review and approval.
• Develop, update, and refine packaging templates to support consistency and workflow efficiency.
• Prepare and optimize print-ready packaging files in accordance with production and vendor specifications.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail across all packaging deliverables.
• Organize and manage files, versions, and documentation across multiple active projects.
• Communicate effectively with internal partners to support on-time and accurate delivery.
