Job summary

Funko is seeking a Packaging Designer for a six-month, on-site contract in Everett, WA. You will create packaging designs aligned with brand guidelines, develop digital mockups, and maintain templates to ensure consistency across multiple projects.

The role requires a design degree (Graphic/Packaging) or equivalent experience, strong Adobe CC skills (Illustrator, Photoshop), sharp attention to print details, and solid time management to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Applied Arts degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a production-driven environment.
• High attention to detail, particularly with print and packaging assets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals, layout skills, and/or packaging-related work.

Position Overview:

This is a six-month contract position

The Packaging Designer creates packaging designs that align with brand guidelines and overall product strategy. They translate creative direction into clear, effective designs and ensure brand consistency. This position requires a strong foundation in design principles, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

What You’ll Do:

Salary Information

The base hourly range for this position in the selected city is $33.80 - $39.42 hourly. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
