Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking an experienced Physician to join our clinical team full-time in a skilled nursing facility setting.

You will manage your own patient panel, provide primary and episodic care, and build long-term relationships with residents and families. The role offers 6-hour shifts, flexible scheduling, charting from home, and a strong earning potential with productivity-based pay and retention incentives.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified required Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics (or equivalent).
• Valid, unrestricted physician license in the state of operation.
• Must be opted-in with Medicare.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency program.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience strongly preferred.
• Strong independent clinical judgment and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• See roughly 16–25 patients a day, mix of long-term chronic care and acute issues.
• Perform annual wellness visits and H&Ps; manage chronic conditions.
• Respond to acute changes; review meds and orders.
• Coordinate with collaborating specialists and facility staff to keep care seamless.
• Stay in touch with families and join care conferences where appropriate.
