Job summary

Two Springs Elementary School is seeking a 6-hour per day Early Childhood Special Education Paraprofessional to work with students under a teacher's direction. Duties include small-group and individual support, lifting and assisting as needed, and helping in lunchroom, toileting, transportation, and recreational activities.

Requires 6 college credits in Early Childhood Education and a commitment to complete 6 more within a year. Veterans preference applies.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 hours of Early Childhood Education credits.
• Must complete an additional 6 hours of Early Childhood Education within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to lift and assist students in classroom and activity settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in small groups or one-on-one under teacher direction.
• Provide physical assistance and supervision during lunch, toileting, and activities.
• Support transportation and recreational activities as needed.
