Job summary

The CREC Academy of Computer Science & Engineering Middle School seeks a dedicated Secondary Special Education Teacher. The role involves conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering instruction to students with special needs in both pull-out and inclusion settings.

Successful candidates will collaborate with general education teachers, engage families, maintain accurate records, and participate in ongoing professional development to support student growth and achievement in academics

Qualifications

• Must hold State Certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Experience administering diagnostic assessments and writing IEPs.
• Strong collaboration and communication with staff, students, and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and diagnostic examinations to identify learning needs and guide actions.
• Participate in PPTs and develop Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assist students and staff with IEPs and behavior plans.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to address individualized needs.
• Maintain data and records to support decisions and student progress.
