Join Delaware Schools Consortium seeks a Secondary Special Education & Comprehensive Instructional Support Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on middle school students with disabilities, delivering instruction, and coordinating IEP services within inclusive classrooms.

Successful candidates will hold Delaware SPED certification and demonstrate strong collaboration with students, families, and staff, while adhering to district and state guidelines and maintaining appropriate

Formación

• Delaware certification required for K-12 SPED.
• Satisfactory Child Protection Registry.
• Successful background check clearance required (state and federal).
• Direct collaboration with students, staff and parents.

Responsabilidades

• Create and teach lesson plans aligned to IEP goals.
• Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities in inclusive settings.
• Facilitate small group instruction and intervention sessions.
• Maintain orderly classroom environment and consistent behavior expectations.
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff.
• Implement IEP services in accordance with IDEA and Delaware rules.
• Modify curriculum and strategies to meet individual goals.
• Monitor progress and document achievements and challenges.
