The Grades 7-12 Special Education Teacher is responsible for designing and implementing specially designed instruction to support secondary students with diverse learning, emotional, or physical disabilities. This role at Health Sciences Charter School requires expert knowledge of operating in various instructional settings, including Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT), Resource Rooms, or Self-Contained Special Classes. The special education teacher collaborates with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators and families.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education
Valid state teaching credential with an endorsement or certification as a Special Education Teacher.
Minimum of [2-5] years of successful classroom teaching experience, with a proven track record of improving student learning outcomes.
