Job summary

ResponsiveEd in Dallas is seeking an Elementary Teacher to facilitate learning and nurture growth across intellectual, emotional, physical, and social aspects. You will lead instruction, track progress, communicate with families, and implement strategies to support diverse learners.

The role requires Texas certification in Elementary Education, a bachelor’s degree, and strong classroom management, organization, and collaborative skills. Occasional travel for field trips and trainings is expected.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Texas State Teacher’s Certification in Elementary Education or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree with required certification or exam passage for the grade level/content area.
• Demonstrated knowledge of elementary education and core academic subjects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare effective lessons, instruct and motivate students.
• Assign and correct classwork and homework promptly.
• Administer formative and summative assessments and report progress to parents.
• Provide interventions for students who are struggling academically.
• Maintain grades and communicate with parents via the school's platform.
• Uphold classroom discipline and conducive learning environment.
• Collaborate with Special Education staff to support accommodations.
• Support student recruitment and participate in school activities as needed.
