Job summary

Jubilee Academies in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Teacher for RLA (5th Grade) to join our Highland Hills campus. This full-time exempt position reports to the Campus Principal and operates Monday–Friday during the standard school year.

Responsibilities include developing and delivering lesson plans aligned with the Texas TEA guidelines, assessing student progress, differentiating instruction, collaborating with SPED staff, using technology, and supporting after-school tutoring as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with official transcripts showing degree awarded.
• Demonstrate competency in a core academic subject area.
• Must believe fully in the mission and vision of Jubilee Academies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to school curriculum and TEA guidelines.
• Prepare emergency lesson plans to cover material as needed.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
• Assess student learning and use results to plan instruction.
• Collaborate with SPED staff to modify curricula as required.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Use technology to support teaching and learning.
