Job summary

The role requires a strong background in LTE/5G concepts, DSP tools, and security analysis, with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Remote/work model varies by assignment; full-time commitments are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field; 4+ years of mobile telecom experience required, or 8+ years in lieu of degree.
• Experience with virtual machines, containers, and security analysis of such systems.
• Familiarity with DSP tools like GNU Radio or Matlab and Software Defined Radio.
• Experience with radio test equipment and understanding of radio architectures.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of researchers, developers, and telecommunications experts.
• Set up and maintain telecom lab environments for testing and development.
• Troubleshoot UE network connection and registration via logs and packet captures.
• Configure wireless systems using RF hardware and software; diagnose issues in L1–L3.
• Perform vulnerability research; generate reports and contribute to security designs.
• Advise on cybersecurity frameworks and vulnerability projects.
