Booz Allen Hamilton in McLean, VA seeks a 5G PHY M&S Engineer to design, implement, and optimize 5G NR/LTE PHY processing with Python, C/C++, and MATLAB. You will work on GPUs for real-time processing, debug PHY layers, and validate with industry tools.

A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or CS is required; 2+ years of hands-on 5G PHY experience and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance are expected. Familiarity with CI/CD and 3GPP specs is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on 5G NR/LTE PHY Layer development.
• Experience with GPUs for real-time PHY processing and optimization of signal processing.
• Experience in debugging and performance tuning of PHY layer implementations.
• Experience in 5G PHY testing and validation using industry-leading tools.
• Experience developing AI/ML algorithms for real time signal processing.
• Knowledge of 3GPP specs (38.211–38.214) and CI/CD tools.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
