Job summary

SPACEPALM INC is seeking a 5G Modem Field Test Engineer in Warren, NJ to lead lab and field tests on 5G/LTE networks and devices. You will analyze logs, develop test plans, and report results, supporting R&D and QA teams, with travel up to 30%.

The ideal candidate has strong 5G knowledge, lab testing experience, and programming skills in Python/Java/Perl. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Electronics, Software Engineering, or Telecommunications.
Strong knowledge of 5G, LTE, HSPA+/WCDMA with PHY/MAC, signaling and call processing.
Experience analyzing logs and troubleshooting lab tests for UMTS/GSM/5G.
Proficiency with 3GPP specifications and network configuration.
Some programming skills in Python, Java, or Perl are desirable.

Responsibilities

Verify stability and portability of networks and software.
Communicate project information via technical reports.
Perform hardware/software maintenance and upgrades.
Support lab testing of 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM with mobility and static cases.
Capture logs, analyze results, and report findings to R&D or QA.
Travel up to 30% and support field testing as needed.
