Job summary

OSI Engineering is seeking a Cellular Test Engineer (5GNR/LTE) to conduct product field testing of smartphones and devices in lab and in the field. Expect travel to testing locations, with transportation provided, for up to 4 days a week over 12+ months, at $35–$45/hr DOE.

The ideal candidate has 2–7 years in cellular testing (5G/LTE), strong log analysis skills, and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years of cellular testing experience (5G/LTE stack).
• Knowledge of 5GNR and LTE protocols.
• Experience with log analysis of cellular baseband.
• Willingness to travel for field testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Test cellular connectivity of nex-gen smartphones and devices in field and lab.
• Travel to testing locations up to 1 hour away; up to 4 days per week; transportation provided.
• Analyze logs and report data; identify issues and propose next steps.
• Adapt quickly and seek minimal guidance.
• Participate in field testing training if not expert.
• Communicate technical issues effectively.
