OSI Engineering is seeking a field test professional to drive cellular connectivity testing for next-gen devices. You will perform field and lab-ready tests, analyze data, and report findings while traveling locally and on short notice.

The role emphasizes quick adaptation, strong communication, and problem identification. Ideal candidates have 1-5 years in cellular field testing or QA, with knowledge of LTE/5GNR protocols and baseband log analysis.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in cellular field testing or cellular lab QA testing
• Knowledge in cellular domain wireless with understanding in 5GNR and LTE protocol stack
• Cellular baseband log analysis experience
• Strong analytical skills and judgement during test campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to travel locally and non-locally on short notice
• Able to adapt quickly and learn

Responsibilities

• Test cellular connectivity in field environments for 4 days per week
• Travel to testing locations up to 1 hour away for full days, up to 4 days per week
• Communicate any technical issues clearly and promptly
• Analyze testing data and determine next steps without constant escalation
• Report data findings and describe technical problems clearly
• Be prepared to be trained if not an expert, given foundational knowledge in wireless domains (LTE, 5GNR)
