Job summary

SpacePalm, Inc. seeks an experienced Modem Verification Engineer to work on 4G/5G modem validation in lab environments. You will configure test gear, run verification plans, and analyze UE logs to identify protocol and performance issues.

The role involves creating automation scripts, compiling daily KPI reports, and collaborating with engineers to resolve bugs and optimize modem performance. Strong communication skills and knowledge of TCP/IP are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Analytical, data mining and database management software knowledge.
Strong knowledge of 5G, LTE, with PHY/MAC and signaling concepts.

Responsibilities

Execute 3GPP based 4G/5G Modem System Verification Test Plans in lab environment.
Configure and prepare test equipment (Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, Anritsu) for lab testing of modems.
Create automation scripts for test execution.
Analyze UE logs, report bugs related to modem protocol, call processing and performance.
Prepare daily/weekly reports and KPI dashboards.
Collaborate with team to resolve bugs and improve modem performance.
Provide technical support to internal and external customers as required.
