Job Title: Floating Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech)

We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to our pediatric urgent care setting. The Floating Radiologic Technologist is responsible for all departmental functions aligned with the mission, vision, and goals of PM Pediatrics. This role offers an opportunity to apply radiologic skills in a pediatric environment and assist with primary patient care under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

1. Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
2. Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake information.
3. Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following safety protocols.
4. Obtain diagnostic radiographs as requested by medical staff.
5. Ensure equipment is operational and compliant with regulations.
6. Maintain quality control of radiology equipment daily.
7. Document repeat exposures and parent holding logs.
8. Assist in radiology quality assurance programs.
9. Report equipment malfunctions promptly.
10. Assist in emergencies and help patients in distress.
11. Collect and process laboratory samples as needed.
12. Apply splints, ace wraps, and DME devices; provide patient education on crutches.
13. Maintain stock of supplies in exam and x-ray rooms.
14. Follow policies and procedures, report changes, and ensure a safe work environment.
15. Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
16. Contribute to team efforts and seek opportunities to add value.
17. Travel to multiple locations to provide x-ray services as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a Radiologic Technologist program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, practice, and procedures.
• Ability to act calmly in emergencies and use sound judgment.
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of digital imaging and electronic health records (eCW preferred).

Compensation

$55 - $65/hour. The listed range complies with local regulations and reflects potential base pay, which varies based on experience and location.
