Responsible for providing products and services in the deli/bakery department that meet customer requirements, including proper phone etiquette, answering questions, and communicating with management. Ensure stock levels are maintained, products are fresh and well-displayed, and health and safety standards are followed. Tasks include stocking shelves, preparing baked goods, packaging, labeling, and merchandising items according to company policy. Inspect product quality and remove outdated or spoiled items. Learn and perform duties of similar roles in other departments as needed. Maintain cleanliness of work area and floor. In the absence of the department manager, perform their duties (full-time associates only).

Required Skills:

• High School diploma / G.E.D. or current enrollment in such programs.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts (day, evening, weekend, holiday).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or ability to obtain it.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
