Job summary

Jobot, an aerospace manufacturing company in California, is seeking a precision CNC Machinist to join our growing team. This permanent role involves setup, operation, and maintenance of 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision components with tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in manufacturing.
• Proficient in operating and programming 5-axis CNC machines.
• Strong knowledge of precision machining, grinding, and related processes.
• Ability to read complex blueprints and engineering plans.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T to plan machining sequences.
• Perform precision machining, including grinding, to meet tight tolerances.
• Use precision instruments to verify part dimensions.
• Select tooling and adjust feeds and speeds for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machines, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and collaborate with engineering/production teams.
