Qualifications

• 5+ years in CNC machining in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency operating and programming 5-axis CNC machines.
• Strong knowledge of precision machining, grinding, and related processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficient in using precision measurement tools and tooling setup.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Interpret GD&T and blueprints to plan machining.
• Perform precision machining and grinding to meet tight tolerances.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify parts meet specs.
• Select and adjust tooling for each job and optimize speeds/feeds.
• Maintain machines and preventive maintenance to ensure uptime.
• Follow safety procedures and SOPs at all times.
• Collaborate with engineering/production to improve processes and reduce setup times.
