Focused Post Acute Care Partners FPACP is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our Sherman team. The role focuses on assisting residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity within a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas CNA license in good standing, with strong English communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas.
• Must be in good standing on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.

Responsibilities

• Ensure resident safety and provide ADL assistance.
• Bathe, groom, dress, and provide basic care to residents.
• Follow the charge nurse's assignment schedule.
• Lift, move, and transfer residents as needed.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist with feeding.
• Maintain resident cleanliness and toileting needs.
• Provide a safe, supportive environment for residents.
• Document care in EMR (PointClickCare).

We are looking for a Certified Nurse Aide to join our great team!

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living to promote resident independence and dignity.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Must have current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
• Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents

Essential Functions:

• To ensure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
• Lift, move, and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned
• Utilize electronic medical records charting; point click care

Physical Requirements:

Have the ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
