Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) is a dynamic company with an expectation of excellence in the delivery of long-term care to every patient every day. We are looking for a Certified Nurse Aide to join our great team!

Position Summary

Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living to promote resident independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
• Good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry in Texas
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out written and verbal instructions in English
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents

Essential Functions

• Ensure resident safety
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, provide nail care for assigned residents
• Follow resident assignment schedule as established by the charge nurse
• Lift, move, and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Maintain resident cleanliness and dryness; provide toileting or incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned
• Utilize electronic medical records charting; Point Click Care

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
