Orange Electric is seeking a motivated 4th Year Electrical Apprentice (In School) to assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will follow NEC codes and safety standards while gaining hands-on experience.

This position requires a Utah Electrical Apprentice License in progress or completion of a 4th Year Apprenticeship, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Utah Electrical Apprentice License or enrollment in a 4th Year Apprenticeship Program.
• Enrollment in or completion of a 4th Year Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
• Commercial/industrial electrical experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The 4th Year Electrical Apprentice will assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety standards, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Analyze electrical issues and communicate technical information effectively.
• Follow all industry safety practices, procedures, and company policies.
• Monitor and verify quality control standards to ensure consistency and accuracy of work.
• Complete assigned electrical tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Read and prepare proposals, business correspondence, schedules, reports, and technical procedures.
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread electrical raceways, conduit, and wire using proper electrical tools and equipment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Maintain a professional image when interacting with customers, contractors, and team members.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications

• Current Utah Electrical Apprentice License (required).
• Completion of or enrollment in a 4th Year Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience required.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must be at least 21 years of .
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights.
• Sufficient mobility to crouch, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying weather and job site conditions as required.
