Job summary

Orange Electric is seeking motivated 3rd-Year Electrical Apprentices to join a growing team in Utah. You will advance your career by working with experienced professionals on diverse commercial and industrial projects.

Applicants must be enrolled in an approved electrical apprenticeship program and able to meet safety and licensing requirements. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for long-term advancement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an approved electrical apprenticeship program and attending electrical schooling.
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local electrical codes.
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings.
• Analyze electrical issues and effectively communicate technical information.
• Follow industry safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain quality control and consistency of workmanship.
• Perform assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and understand proposals, business correspondence, technical procedures, schedules, and reports.
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread electrical raceways, conduit, and wire using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers, coworkers, and project managers.
