Job summary

Orange Electric is rapidly expanding and seeking apprentices looking to advance in the electrical industry. Candidates must have commercial and/or industrial electrical experience, a valid Utah Apprentice license, and pass a pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience required.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Clean MVR and at least 21 years old.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and local codes.
• Read and follow diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Analyze electrical problems and communicate information.
• Monitor quality control and uniformity of work.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Read and write proposals and technical procedures.
• Measure, cut, bend electrical raceways and conduit.
• Climb ladders and lift objects up to 100lbs.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and local electrical codes
• Ability to read and follow diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Ability to analyze electrical problems and communicate technical information
• Knowledge of industry safety practices and procedures
• Monitors and verifies quality control and uniformity of work
• Ability to perform assigned work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and write proposals, business correspondence, technical procedures, schedules, reports, etc.
• Be proficient in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, electrical raceways, conduit or wire, using proper electrical tools
• Ability to climb ladders, sufficient mobility including, crouching, bending or kneeling
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100lbs
