Job summary

Orange Electric in Utah is seeking a dedicated Electrician Apprentice to support electrical installations on residential and commercial projects. You will follow NEC codes, read diagrams and schematics, and assist experienced electricians to install, maintain, and troubleshoot systems.

The role requires a valid Utah Apprentice license or active in-process status, a clean driving record, and the physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs. On-the-job training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be customer oriented, self-motivated, honest, and dependable.
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean MVR.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
• Required license or certification: Utah Apprentice license.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and local electrical codes.
• Read and follow diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Analyze electrical problems and communicate technical information.
• Follow safety practices and procedures.
• Monitor quality control and uniformity of work.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Read and write proposals, business correspondence, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and local electrical codes
• Ability to read and follow diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Ability to analyze electrical problems and communicate technical information
• Knowledge of industry safety practices and procedures
• Monitors and verifies quality control and uniformity of work
• Ability to perform assigned work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and write proposals, business correspondence, technical procedures, schedules, reports, etc.
• Be proficient in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, electrical raceways, conduit or wire, using proper electrical tools
• Ability to climb ladders, maintain sufficient mobility including crouching, bending or kneeling
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs
