Qualifications

• Content-area proficiency evidenced by coursework, certification, or experience.
• Knowledge of the subject and ability to pass an IDEA-aligned assessment.
• Understanding of curricula and instructional practices.
• Ability to instruct students and manage behavior.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to diverse school situations.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Deliver grade-level content and core objectives effectively.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate student progress with families weekly.
• Utilize technology to enhance learning and manage tasks.
• Maintain a behavior management system aligned with campus initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive school culture and student development.
• Build trusting relationships with students and families.
• Support tutoring sessions and participate in meetings.
• Engage in ongoing professional learning and development.
• Commit to 40+ hours on campus weekly.
