Job summary

The New Standard Academy in Michigan is seeking an enthusiastic elementary teacher to deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction for students in grades K-6. You will create rigorous, personalized lessons aligned with state standards across core subjects and use data to inform planning.

Responsibilities include ongoing assessments, collaborating with grade-level teams, supporting IEPs, and maintaining open communication with families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Master's preferred).
  • Valid State Teaching Certificate with Elementary Education endorsement (K-5 or K-6).
  • Proficiency with technology, including Google Workspace and virtual classroom platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proactive, positive problem-solving.
