BASIS Leander campus is seeking a qualified 4th5th Grade Math Teacher to join its team. The role focuses on delivering BASIS Curriculum, preparing subject-specific lesson plans, and guiding students to achieve exceptional mathematics outcomes in an engaging learning environment.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's in the subject matter or 24 credit hours, IVP clearance, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred candidates hold a Master's degree and 2 years of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in subject matter or 24 credit hours in applicable subject matter.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans.
• Provide subject instruction at a level above grade standard in an interactive environment.
• Implement BASIS Curriculum with creative lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with BASIS Curriculum teachers to develop curriculum and build a professional community.
• Tutor students in content knowledge and skills to support academic growth.
• Manage student behavior to promote achievement and responsibility.
• Support non-instructional functions such as Early Bird/Late Bird and lunch.
• Maintain regular, full, predictable attendance.
• Supervise individual students or groups as needed.
