Wisconsin Youth Company is hiring a 4K Wrap Lead Teacher for a full-time position at Franklin Elementary School within the Madison Metropolitan School District. Responsibilities include daily operations, lesson planning, and fostering positive relationships with children, families, and school personnel, with planning time built into the schedule.

This school-year role offers paid planning time, with the option to join the summer team. Up to $20 per hour, based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completed college-level courses in Education (early childhood, elementary, or related).
• Should have leadership abilities and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with DCF state licensing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily operations of the 4K wrap program.
• Plan and implement lessons for children.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and school staff.

Location:

We are currentlyhiring forFranklin Elementary School in theMadisonMetropolitanSchool District.Programstake placein the school buildings. Administrative work, such as lesson planning,is paid andoccurs outside of program hours. Staff can workfrom home or Wisconsin Youth Company’sco-working office inMadison.

What You'll Do

Position Summary: The 4K Wrap Lead Teacheris responsible forthe daily operations of their assigned 4K wrap program.Responsibilities include lesson planning and implementation for children as well as fostering positive relationships with children,families,andschool personnelwhile ensuring program quality standards are met.

Up to $20per hour , pay is based on education and experience

40 hoursper week, Monday7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. and Tuesday-Friday10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Position includes paid planning time built into40hour/week schedule.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must be18years of age
• Hascompleted college-level(or equivalent)courses in Education (early childhood, elementary, or related)
• Should feel confident managing a large group of children
• Is organized and has leadership abilities
• Has experience with DCF state licensing
• Values relationships and has strong written and verbal communication skills
