Kansas State University (K-State Extension) is seeking an On-site 4-H Events Coordinator to oversee statewide events and activities for youth, in collaboration with state and regional specialists, staff, and volunteers.
You will manage risk, plan programs, oversee financial resources, and use digital and social media tools to communicate and promote the 4-H program across Kansas. Strong organization and teamwork are essential.
The 4-H Events Coordinator coordinates and manages statewide 4-H events and activities for young people in collaboration with state and regional specialists, Extension staff, and youth and adult volunteers. The Coordinator is responsible for risk management plans, program planning, managing financial resources, and working with teams of youth and adults to deliver events that support the Kansas 4-H Youth Development program and its priorities. This position manages 4-H events efficiently and effectively, maintaining or developing systems and using electronic, digital, and social media technologies to communicate.
