Kansas State University is seeking an On-site 4-H Events Coordinator to organize and manage statewide 4-H events and activities in collaboration with specialists, staff, and volunteers. You will lead planning, risk management, and communication efforts to support youth development priorities.
The role emphasizes program development, budgeting, and working with diverse teams to deliver impactful events. A strong background in event coordination and volunteer management is valued.
The 4-H Events Coordinator coordinates and manages statewide 4-H events and activities for young people in collaboration with state and regional specialists, Extension staff, and youth and adult volunteers. The Coordinator is responsible for risk management plans, program planning, managing financial resources, and working with teams of youth and adults to deliver events that support the Kansas 4-H Youth Development program and its priorities. This position manages 4-H events efficiently and effectively, maintaining or developing systems and using electronic, digital, and social media technologies to communicate.
