Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unify models and schedules for effective construction planning across multiple projects in the United States. You’ll work with an international delivery team, integrating 4D and progressing toward 5D workflows while improving tools and workflows.

The role blends hands-on production with experimentation, delivering useful work today and building better methods for tomorrow. Strong BIM/VDC background and collaboration across time zones are essential.

Qualifications

2+ years of BIM/VDC experience with hands-on 4D modeling or construction sequencing.
Hands-on with 4D modeling and scheduling integration.
Proficiency in 4D platforms such as SYNCHRO or Fuzor; Revit and/or Navisworks used.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain 4D models connecting 3D elements with construction schedules using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or comparable tools.
Prepare/structure/vet model data, including Revit parameters and element coding, for reliable schedule linking.
Identify schedule conflicts, constraints, risks, and opportunities with project teams.
Create clear simulations, visualizations, and presentations to support planning discussions and communicate strategy.
Keep models and deliverables current as designs and schedules change; adapt across projects.
Coordinate work with an international delivery team, set priorities, and ensure quality of deliverables.
Improve repeatable workflows, troubleshoot data integration issues, and test tools and automation for speed and accuracy.
Help develop 5D workflows connecting model quantities, schedule activities, and cost data.
Share knowledge to help project teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
Demonstrate curiosity, learn new tools, troubleshoot problems, and follow through on details.
