Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unify models and schedules across projects in the United States. You will connect 3D model elements with construction timelines, enabling better sequencing, risk assessment, and decision-making.

This role blends hands‑on 4D production with experimentation to improve workflows and toolsets. You’ll collaborate with an international team, deliver informative simulations, and help advance 5D capabilities by linking quantities with schedule and cost data.

Qualifications

• Experience with 4D modeling and construction sequencing.
• Working knowledge of BIM platforms such as Revit and Navisworks.
• Ability to connect model data with schedules.
• Experience with data management in Revit parameters and coding.
• Experience working with international project teams and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements to construction schedules using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or similar tools.
• Prepare and structure model data, including Revit parameters and element coding for reliable linking.
• Collaborate with project teams to evaluate sequencing, identify conflicts and risks, and propose improvements.
• Create clear simulations and visualizations to support planning discussions and strategy communication.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities evolve; pivot between projects as needed.
• Coordinate with an international delivery team, set priorities, and review deliverables.
• Improve workflows, troubleshoot data integration issues, and test automation to increase speed and accuracy.
• Assist in developing 5D workflows connecting quantities, schedules, and cost data.
• Share knowledge and help teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution.
