Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a VDC 4D Coordinator to unite 4D models with construction schedules, improving sequencing and planning across multiple projects. You’ll work with international teams, expand into 5D workflows, and help deliver actionable insights for execution.

The role blends hands-on production with experimentation to refine tools and processes, all within a hybrid work model and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of BIM/VDC experience with hands-on 4D modeling or sequencing
• Experience with 4D platforms such as SYNCHRO or Fuzor and with Revit/Navisworks
• Understanding of construction schedules and how they connect to model elements; Primavera P6 experience is valuable
• Experience organizing model information through Revit parameters and element coding
• Ability to explain technical information clearly and collaborate across disciplines and time zones

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models connecting 3D elements with construction schedules using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or similar tools
• Prepare and structure model data (Revit parameters and coding) for reliable schedule linking
• Work with project teams to understand methods, evaluate sequencing, and identify schedule conflicts, constraints, risks and opportunities
• Create clear simulations, visualizations, and presentations to support planning discussions and communicate strategy
• Keep models and deliverables current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects as needed
• Coordinate work with an international delivery team and ensure quality handoffs
• Improve workflows and troubleshoot data integration issues; test tools and automation for speed and accuracy
• Help develop 5D workflows linking quantities, schedule activities, and cost data
• Share knowledge and help teams use 4D effectively in planning and execution
