Job summary

Fidelity Investments seeks a Project Manager to lead teams converting defined contribution plans for new clients or adjusting plans for existing ones. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, develop timelines, manage risks, and deliver client-focused solutions while balancing business priorities.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in implementation, project management, or client management, with strong communication, analytical skills, and knowledge of ERISA/IRC/DOL

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in 2 of the following areas: implementation, project management and/or client management
• Confidently lead by influence with strong communication and interpersonal skills across organizations
• Analytical, organized, with strong multi-tasking skills
• Decisive, creative, adaptable with experience developing and executing client solutions
• Identify and lead quality improvement initiatives and other special projects
• Strong knowledge of defined contribution, financial services, and/or benefits industries
• Leading multiple projects and prioritizing workload, delegating as appropriate
• Developing project timelines and ensuring timely completion, anticipating challenges
• Monitoring and reporting on project status
• Consulting with clients to understand their needs
• Knowledge of ERISA, IRC and DOL regulations and impact of pending legislation
• Coaching and mentoring others to draw out skills and expertise

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of internal and external stakeholders to convert defined contribution plans for new clients or modify plans for existing clients
• Coordinate with internal groups and external client staff and third-party vendors
• Develop project timelines and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery
• Provide status reports and communicate project risks and mitigations
• Consult with clients to understand needs and balance business priorities
• Mentor and develop team members to draw out capabilities
• Navigate ERISA, IRC, and DOL regulations affecting projects
