Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced 4-Roll Plate Roll Operator to setup, program, and operate heavy-duty 4-roll hydraulic plate rolling machinery. You will interpret blueprints, calculate springback and yield strengths, and ensure precise pre-bends across varying plate thicknesses.

Responsibilities include programming DRO/NC/CNC, performing routine maintenance, and using precision tools to verify radius and tolerances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years plate rolling experience with 4-roll equipment.
• OSHA safety standards compliance and shop safety awareness.
• Overhead Crane and Forklift certifications preferred or required.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced 4-Roll Plate Roll Operator to set up, program, and operate heavy-duty 4-roll hydraulic plate rolling machinery (such as DAVI systems) to produce high-precision cylinders, shells, and cones. In this role, you will interpret engineering blueprints, calculate material springback and yield strengths, calibrate hydraulic clamping pressures, and execute precise double-pinch pre-bends across various metal plate thicknesses. Responsibilities include programming digital readouts (DRO/NC/CNC), performing routine machine maintenance, and utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and sweep templates to verify exact radius, circumference, and dimensional tolerances. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of dedicated plate rolling experience, a proven track record in heavy plate handling, active Overhead Crane and Forklift certifications, and an uncompromised commitment to shop safety and OSHA standards.

We offer a competitive wage of up to $22.00 per hour (commensurate with experience), plus a 1.5x overtime rate (up to $33.00 per hour) for all hours worked over 40 per week. Candidates must be flexible for assignment to either a Day Shift (5:00 AM - 2:30 PM) or an Evening Shift (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM), with mandatory Saturday shifts up to 12:00 PM, offering up to 55 total hours per week (including up to 15 hours of weekly overtime compensation).

Salary: $40,000 - $45,760 per year
