University of Georgia is seeking a 4-H Marion/Schley Counties AmeriCorps Member, Part Time, located in SW District. Join a team delivering 4-H youth development programs and supporting volunteers.

Responsibilities include teaching 4-H clubs, preparing students for project achievement, attending camps, and tracking performance data for the AmeriCorps Grant. Start date is 09/01/2026 and position may require some travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 4-H positive youth development programming direct to youth under the direction of the 4-H County Extension Agent; includes teaching 4-H in-school clubs, preparing students for Project Achievement, attending Summer Camp, and designing community service projects.
• Assist with day-to-day activities involved with providing direct services to youth, including planning and developing 4-H programming; some programming may be virtual; may transport youth.
• Support and provide leadership to the county 4-H Volunteer program by recruiting, screening, training, and engaging volunteers; may coordinate volunteer registration database.
• Track data for AmeriCorps Grant performance measures; complete monthly reports; administer surveys and data entry for youth.
• Attend local, district, and state program activities and trainings, including orientation and webinars.
